Lou has lived in South London for most of her adult life. She grew up in East Sussex as the second eldest child of six in a Christian family. She came to faith as a teenager and later left home to study nursing in London. Lou worked at St Bartholomew’s hospital, before training and working as a children’s nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As her children got older, Lou decided to become a teaching assistant, helping to support children with their emotional needs. Lou cares deeply for the children at GCB and loves coming up with new ideas on how to serve them better. Teaching them deep truths, critical thinking and a love for Jesus brings her great joy.
